Glitter Charms Part II

21 February, 2014 by Shundara@Savynaturalista 11 Comments

How to make Glitter Charms (DIY)

We are working with leftover polymer clay charms from: Heart Charms DIY.  These charms are covered in glitter, and add a nice little touch to your accessories. You can add them to key chains, rings, necklaces, and even make charm bracelets with these fashionable charms.

What you will need:
Nail Polish
Modge Podge or Translucent Liquid Sculpey
Glitter
Left over charms
Paint Brush

Brush a bit of modge podge or liquid sculpey all over charms; you want the layer of modge podge to be thin and not to chunky. The thin layer will give the charms a smooth finish.  Glitter Charms Part II

Allow the charms to stay in the glitter and set. 2-5 minutes is how long it will take the glitter to set.  Glitter Charms Part II

Once they have set let the charms dry. When they are done drying add a thin layer of nail polish to each side of the charms and let them dry.  Glitter Charms Part II

Now that the charms have dried, you can personalize them to your style. They add a bit of sparkle to any style!
