Chunky Chocolate Freezer Fudge (Dairy Free)

28 October, 2013 by Shundara@Savynaturalista

Chunky Chocolate Freezer Fudge (Dairy Free) The weather maybe chili but I have been in the mood for fudge and chocolate; chocolate seems to be a girl thing not a guy thing because no matter how much I try to shove chocolate down Josh face he never gives in.

Most of the guys in my family and the guys I know are not big fans of chocolate; maybe in a cookie but never just plain or in fudge; this has become a bad thing for me because the fudge is almost gone and I can’t blame anyone but myself. When it comes to chocolate I have no will power.

Chunky Chocolate Freezer Fudge (Dairy Free)

Being lactose intolerant is not a bad thing (it is when I want fried cheese curds and I don’t have a dairy pill) when I make chunky chocolate freezer fudge. The good thing this fudge recipe is dairy free, vegan and gluten free, perfect for all kinds of diets and healthy too. Gooey thick dairy free fudge, the best of both worlds with lots of flavor and you will not miss the real thing.

Chunky Chocolate Freezer Fudge (Dairy Free)

Chunky Chocolate Freezer Fudge (Dairy Free) Recipe:

3 ¾ cups dairy free chocolate chips (I used carob)

1 can coconut milk

¼ cup butter (I used earth balance)

1 cup nuts (optional)

Recipe Directions: Place saran wrap in a 8*8 baking dish and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl place chocolate chips, coconut milk, and butter; microwave for 3-5 minutes stirring chocolate until it has melted completely. Once the chocolate has completely melted slowly stir in nuts and place in baking dish. Once done place in freezer until the fudge sets. Cut into pieces and serve.

I love fudge (and when it comes to chocolate, I’m un-stopable 😉 ) but I always think the recipes are way too complicated. This one, however, sounds so easy. And delicious as well! Thanks for sharing

I thought I was the only one; moderation can be so hard when it comes to chocolate 🙂

Yum! There is nothing like a good piece of fudge. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!) Ryan loves chocolate just as much as I do. Thank you for sharing!

O M G. Love frozen indulgences… and I love Earth Balance, too, have you tried soy-free one? I prefer the soy-free one, it tastes really good on toast. MMMM fudge forever!
