It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… Well not around my house because I was too lazy to put up decorations this year. I have been watching cheesy holiday movies while curled up in a blanket. I guess sitting in front of the TV this holiday has gotten me a little lazy, but honestly it’s not me it’s this cold weather!
I decided that I would not let the cold weather get to me, so I took a few more milligrams of vitamin C and started making my handmade gifts. This year I have been really obsessed with cinnamon, and I can’t begin to tell you how good these cinnamon bath salts smell. I had a few cinnamon salts left over and my whole bathroom smelled just like cinnamon cookies out of the oven. I guess you don’t need the potpourri to get your house smelling oh so sweet! Now these salts can be used for your bathwater or just keep them in a dish in a small area, and let your room smell of cinnamon.
Cinnamon Salt Recipe:
3 ½ cups epsom salts
1-2 tbsps. ground cinnamon
5-10 drops cinnamon essential oils
Recipe Directions: In a medium to large bowl add bath salts, ground cinnamon, and cinnamon essential oils. Mix all the ingredients until they are combined, about 2-5 minutes. Once combined store in air tight containers.

Haha curling up with a blanket and watching Christmas movies sounds perfect to me! Oh my and so do these bath salts! The cinnamon must make the whole room smell amazing! Love these!
I was the same way for Christmas 2014-watched the Hallmark channel every day! 😉 Can’t wait to try this out! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I just made some except I used vanilla essential oils instead of cinnamon and it smells amazing. (: I’m hoping it makes my room smell delicious! Do you know how long it usually takes?
