Baking Soda Black Head Facial Scrub DIY

Pesky Black heads that need treating, try this easy baking soda facial scrub with tea tree oil to help fight acne!  I don’t know if it’s that time of the month or what is going on with my skin! But the blackheads have been flaring up again.

My chin is my problem area when it comes to this pesky problem and I wanted to try a natural remedy instead of going for my typical black head routine. Which is literally me squeezing and popping them until they are gone or I just bleed. Well after doing a bit of research on Pinterest I decided to try the baking soda scrub for a week.  

The first two days I did not care for this mask at all. It was too messy and the coconut oil would leave a film on my face. Well after the fourth day I was about to give up, but decided to add some tea tree oil and use Larimar Elixir after the treatment and I am in love with the results. 

The black heads under my chin cleared up thanks to the tea tree oil. This scrub is not for oily skin and is messy, and the grit from the scrub needs to be cleaned of your face really well. I don’t think it’s worth the hassle, but if you are looking to go natural this is a great way to start.  

Baking Soda Black Head Facial Scrub DIY Recipe:  

2tbsps. Baking soda 

1 tbsp. Coconut oil (I used two) 

1 tsp. Tea Tree Oil  

Larimar Elixir

Baking Soda Black Head Facial Scrub DIY Recipe Directions: In a small bowel black baking soda, coconut oil and tea tree oil and mix until combined. Once combined scrub your problem areas for about 30 seconds or until you feel it’s time to stop scrubbing. If you added two tablespoons of coconut oil use a brush and place the mask all over the face (as seen in the video) scrub with finger tips. Rinse scrub all over the face and use Larimar Elixir or facial Elixir of your choice.
